NS Basic (www.nsbasic.com) is a programming language that allows you to write Palm OS programs in the familiar Basic language. If you program in Microsoft's Visual Basic, you will feel very comfortable with NS Basic.

NS Basic does require that certain support libraries be loaded onto to your Palm OS device for it to work. The most common files are the NSBRuntme.prc and MATHLIB.prc. These files allow the Basic programming (NSBRuntime.prc)and math calculations (MATHLIB.prc)to work in the Palm OS environment. Other files support other functions such as different types of handhelds, etc.

You will need to download and hotsync these files onto your handheld OR THE NS BASIC PROGRAMS WILL NOT WORK.

With each veterinary program listed to be downloaded, please also include a text file with the files required for support. An example would be:

fluids.prc
NSBRuntime.prc
MATHLIB.prc

If you are creating new programs that uses support files not already in this PalmVet, please include the support files in the folder.
